PQ 50?

In the game I'm playing now, a pop up box came up in the beginning of one of my turns that said that the Yor stumbled on a precursor ship or something and the PQ rating for the planet was increased 35 points. I searched for the planet and then attacked them for it. The planet had a PQ of 43. After building some improvements and researching some techs, the planets PQ is at 50. Has anyone ever had a planet that was this high? How often does a pop up like that occur?

These events appear from time to time. But I never had 35 points increasement

I don't think that it is a +35 Pq event. I think that the base PQ of the planet is now 35.

No it said that the planet's quality is increased 35, when I found it, it had a PQ of 45 or something.

Ok. You are pretty lucky: the increase is random.

I had this event in my last game too. The event said that one planet of one of my opponent found an artefact which increased the basic PQ to(!) 35. I checked the systems afterwards and the planet had a PQ of more than 50. It seems to be possible.

forgot one thing: there are various events that lead to a modification of base PQ. Some apply on colonized planet while other apply to uncolonized planets. And some of these event have a random factor when other haven't.

tHIS HAS HAPPEND TO ME TWICE. tHE STARTING pq WAS LOW (15 BOTH TIMES). MY mASS dRIVER INVASION WITH MAX TROOPS FAILED BOTH TIMES, SUGGSESTING A SOILDERING BONUS THAT WAS NOT ON THE STATS SCREEN.

iT APPEARS TO AFFECT ONLY LOW-LEVEL WORLDS, AND ALSO DOES SOMETHING TO PLANETARY DEFENCE STAT.

bOTH TIMES IT AFFECTED A yOR cOLLECTIVE PLANET, WHICH SEEMS ODD, AS BOTH TIMES THEY ONLY HAD THEIR HOME PLANETS (COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE, WHO HAD 3-5 STARS ALREADY). aNYONE ELSE NOTICED A SIMALAR PATTERN?

It happend to me too. It was on a Yor planet(PQ 40). After I saw it I attacked and capture the planet and now its on PQ 48.

Its odd how the machine race always gets the high PQ.

The evil races choose the evel decision which give them these incredible PQ advantages. When you conquer the planet you can profit from that
