As others have said, don't be afraid to use the autosave and go back and reload. This game is supposed to fun but if you get an event that makes it "un-fun" for you, then reload. It's OK. Have fun and enjoy. This is a truly great game

Dread lOrds appeared in my last game. Then straight away the up voted on ending all wars. They went back to war with every one except me and a i won military victory cos of them.(i hate the space sharks they r=wreck all my trade)

I see space sharks all the time... only once as an event though... there is a planetoid anomoly that pops them out (big green planetoid unless it's being funky and borrowing the wormhole graphic).

Space sharks are different from the more common anomaly beasts. Those are the usual product of the green planetoids (which should yield ships more often while gray ones occasionally yield monsters).
