Thanks for reviving this thread. I'm one game away from making Admiral ... and then 30 games away from Fleet Admiral  . Maybe I should retire early so I can have more time to play.

Admiral Walldorf2000 enters the bridge of BattleStar One, the flagship of the remaining fleet.
Admiral: "The war doesn't work out very well. The most part of the fleet is lost. The Admiralty is either retired or lost in action. Hereby I take the command of the fleet."
CEO: "What about Admiral Technician? He should be on duty!"
Admiral: "He was seen in a battle a week ago. But since we lost contact. There are rumors that he fights another war in another galaxy. I would be very glad to leave the command to him but I'm afraid that we will not see him in this world again. There is so much to do, we can't leave the fleet guideless."
CEO: "Be it! Welcome on board admiral. May the Force be with you."
Admiral: "My first command for you is to organize some sacred grass. Try to find Krazyhorse. He should be able to abandon us some of it. I know it's war. But we are still human beings and when we don't celebrate any more we would give up too much. We will have a big party on Saturday eve."
CEO: "Very well. I will initiate all what we need."

Hi Chipperoo,
yes, Technician, Spacepundit, Fuels Chief and you are some of the last top players who submit games every now and then. I wasn't too serious when I claimed the leadership for me. It was more a kind of provocation to get some reactions 
I still think that it is a pitty that Technician lost his first place because he submitted a game and others like Weyrleader who did not submit for a year got the credit.
I don't know how much time I will have for GC1 when GC2 is here I guess I will go for the "100 Game Winner" medal and then ... We'll see. The next one would be "Wounded in action"

Many have moved into GC2, I think that is going to be hard to play GC1 again, unless the devs created some kind of expansion pack that can add or incorporeate elements from GC2 into GC1. But I doubted. That is wjhy GC2 was created in first place.
