Why did my Metaverse score drop by 200,000 points?

Because you submitted a game

You can find details about aging here: http://www.galciv1.com/forum.asp?id=186632&BID=GF&page=1#203902 Link

The problem is that the aging does only occur when you submit and not for retired players.

This way Technician lost hist 1st place because he submitted an additional game and the other top players not

The best solution would be a recalculation on a timed basis e.g. every other month or something.

By the way, your score was cut at 30.000 points. You should really consider to reload the game and try not to win before January 2190. After this date you would get 60k. You can submit one game two times. The second time the score overwrites you old score. This alone would push you 3 places up the ladder.

The 30k game will really hurt your scores on the long run, too.

I ended the game one month early - I was wondering about that score...

So submitting a game 140 days after the previous submit causes 20% aging...okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
