Sunday, September 04, 2005 - Gamespot preview of Galactic Civilizations II

Gamespot has a pretty thorough hands-on preview of Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords. The game is the sequel to the award-winning Galactic Civilizations released in 2003.

In the game, players take on the role of leader of an inter-stellar civilization. Through diplomacy, economic power and military might the player must come to dominate the galaxy. With the most sophisticated visual ship design features ever seen in a computer game along with a new 3D engine, unique planets, and more, Stardock is hoping that the game will be a hit when it's released this upcoming February.

Check out the preview at Gamespot, it also includes a host of screenshots.
