Hmmm...your recruitment attempts are admirable, but probably not going to be very profitable in the Halls. It's too bad there are so many inactives in the MWC, you guys would have it made if a few of your overlords would wake up!

I wonder what is the percentage of active players for the major empires of the Metaverse.
That would be an interesting stat.
I would define an active player as one who have submitted a game in the recent 2 weeks.

Oky doky folks, time for Update #2.
I got to play for all of an hour last night, Yippee! I did get some things accomplished though. So far I have been able to Keep the Yor at "friendly" by giving them a meaningless tech now and then. Ive also kept them at war with 2 and sometimes 3 other civs at all times. Im not sure how those wars are going for either side though since i dont have any ships at the front sending back any images. I'll fix that soon though since i built Eyes of the Universe a couple of turns ago. Really underestimated wonder on these big maps IMHO. The Yor are currently at war with the Arceans and Altarians (who have formed an Alliance I think) and ive also just bribed them to attack the Torians. The torians have the 2nd biggest military and so I figure that that should keep them busy. We also just past UPN vote the make the YOR give us 3% for 5 years  . As I said before, I think the Arceans and Altarians have allied but Im not concerned about them at all, Ive got em beat by a long shot. I am concerened though that the Torians are close allying as well, and they are pretty tough. If I get all 3 of them against me from 2 sides...it could be fun. I say BRING IT ON!! 
Ive still got a tech lead over everyone but the Yor and Im gaining on them now that I have 33% allocated to research. I got Hyperspace (speed, Hyper Manu, Hyper Mining), Xeno Propoganda (Prop Machine), Sensors (Eyes), Advanced Repair (Mirco Bots), and then teched through to Nano mining for the econ and to give me several mining modules to build. Its always about this time that Im able to start churning out constructors on a regular basis and this game was no different. Therefore, I needed to research mining modules to have somewhere to put them. So far Ive grabbed 3 econ, 1 infl, 2 morale, 1 mil. There wasnt a single research resource withing range  . Im also maintaining my monopoly on the goods/wonders. I just finished by Hyperion Manu Center on my PQ 31 capital and have started building the Propaganda Machine there. Earth is working on Micro Repair Bots while another planet will start Virtual Reality Modules next turn. Since my last update I have added the following wonders (averaging a wonder/good about every 4 turns): Eyes of the Universe, Restaraunt of Eternity, Harmony Crystals (huge for pop growth).
Next on the list:
Im about 3 turns from starting phase 3 which is where I start building a military (wont to get Genetic Mapping firs). The first part of this will be to build a battle axe at every planet while I tech to Dreads. I will spit out a couple battle hammers and maybe a Death Knight along the way just as a show of force. Once I get to dreads, I will put out about 4 of those. I wont build a real fighting force till I get to Rangers and I wont do that until I go through the computer techs. The other ships are too slow or too weak. Before I attack though I will buy up some of the military resources. I havent been able to grab enough and I have 5000 in the bank right now. Then let the games begin
