Good morning!

Terl: Outstanding story telling!

Greldon and Terl looked at one another and Terl said, "You hear that? What the heck is Legolas doing here?"

When you're a Jet, you're a Jet .....

Congrats on getting into the #25. It's really impressive that you did it so quickly...

Thanks CypherPax, but not as impressive as you and Special Forces.

Thanks. I like writing and especially enjoy a bit of silliness along with it. Mixed genres and such are fun....

And also, congrats on the top 25

The silliness is one of my favorite aspects of your writing ..... the chaotic mixing of genres is a hoot, and allows others to join in from time to time. Like I said .... Outstanding!

Theoden: The submission problem must be getting very aggravating! Maybe it is just that particular game, and a different game might submit without problems..... maybe?

Yeah, I'm still talking to Cari about this. I tried playing a Tiny/Maso last night to see if it was just that Small game that was the problem, but the stupid power went out on me. I'm going to try to finish it tonight. It only takes me about an hour to finish a Tiny, but the score is so pitiful I don't usually do it. It usually takes me about 2 hours to finish a Small/Maso and the score is much better.

Terl: The stories really are inspired by insanity, but I love to read them!

King of Gondor Found Dead on Throne!

The King of Gondor was found dead today sitting on his throne. The Gondorian medical examiner noted that the King had died of suffocation. Apparently, there is no "air to the throne of Gondor"

Hey! How does King Theoden of Gondor sound?

Terl: Theoden is right ..... you're crazy!

Apparently, there is no "air to the throne of Gondor"

..... or his air had a toxic disposition!

or .... exactly who will take the throne is up in the air ......

In the classified section:

Wizard for hire. Ex-evil wizard seeks employment. Will perform at birthdays, bar-mitvahs, and company picnics. Excellent pyrotechnic skills. Very good at looking scary, yet somehow I am also disarmingly charming. Call Isengard-65000 and ask for Saruman.

Good evening, my name is Wormtongue, and I am here to tell you about an amazing offer from Mordor Fine Jewelry company. Have you been looking for just the right ring? Need an engagement ring, a wedding ring; then come on down and see the friendly folks at Mordor Fine Jewelry.

Their rings are carefully and skillfully crafted in their own workshops and forged on their premises in Mount Doom Mall. They can teach the novice buyer everything needed to pick out that perfect piece.

Do not listen to others when they try to snow you with that "four c's" stuff. These are not important at all to the discerning jewelry shopper. No, let us teach you about the true qualities. Can the ring Find, Bring, Bind and Rule? These are the true qualities of a fine work of art that will last forever.

Come in today to Mordor Fine Jewelry in the upper tier at Mount Doom Mall. Open seven days a week for your convenience. Mordor fine Jewelers, doing business since the second age.

The Bag End SPCA would like to speak with the owner of a small pony who returned to the Shire in the dead of night six weeks ago. The pony was malnourished and had frostbite injuries. A local spokesman for the SPCA said "Yeah, somebody probably dragged this poor beastie to Carhadras or something, poor thing." Investigators are still not sure of all the troubles the small pony had gone through but one noted, "at least they didn't try taking this little fella through Moria."

Terl, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this around the time the Seeker Master's clone appeared?

Indeed it was. If I remember correctly it was the man clad in white standing on the corner of Bag End and Thorin Street--the one handing out Leaflets of Light. I will notify the SPCA as there may be co-conspirators.

The crazy clone probably rode the poor pony into town, then abandoned it!

He must have intercepted the pony somewhere between Moria and Bag End...but where? We may learn much if we can retrace this. Somehow, I feel, there is some connection between this and the stupid Altarians (who were obliterated in one turn last night, hee hee )

Highlights from METV

Saturday

8:00-9:00 Warg Hunter Watch the zany adventures of Middle Earth's favorite animal meister as he and his wife track down more dangerous animals in tonight's episode Mirkwood's Deadliest Creatures. Will they find Shelob? Tune in tonight!

9:00-10:00 Elves for the Straight Guy Watch as Legolas and Elrond try to turn Gimli into the modern metrosexual. Will Gimli like his new style? Tune in to find out. Also in this episode is an update on a previous show Mordor? Why be a Gloomy Gus?. See if Sauron still enjoys the bright pastels of his new fortress.

10:00-11:00 Hobbit Cricket League Tonight's game is the Bag End Bowlers against Thorin's Oaken Bats. It should be a close one! This show will cover only the portion of the game from the start until the first meal period.

12:00-1:00 Balrogs, Misunderstood and Sad Watch tonight as Moria's Balrog, Mister Sparkles, bares his soul to all of Middle Earth. It is a touching story, to say the least. Mister Sparkles will also be giving his recount of the battle at the bridge with Gandalf.

As it happens, the very powerful Yor suffered exactly the same fate at roughly the same time ...... hmmm ... just a coincidence, I suppose!

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Guys, I'm going to try to get this submission thing fixed this weekend. We need everybody's help in getting us back to first.

Some say our day in the sun is over. The competition will tell you the Fellowship is on the decline. But, just as Gandalf was reborn, so shall the Fellowship rise again! Onward, fellow warriors!

Greldon, that pic is AWESOME!!! I like the butterflies!!
