Depends on when the interest in creating new medals and ideas slows. ideally we would like to carry on until we have quite a few to choose from. count on it being at least 2-4 weeks. Have patience Jedi

OOO! I just had an epiphany!

Maybe awards for achievements such as #1 on the Metaverse should be trophies (or artifacts?) because they can be passed around. The idea that a medal would be taken away seems to upset a lot of folks (including me). The award for 25 Beyond Human victories, for example, could be a medal because it couldn't be lost.

Yeah, I know - just another request to revamp the whole award scheme.

Also, as far as selecting the new medals, I know that if I was in charge

, I would put the artwork that I like with the ideas that I like. Ya know - mix and match. I dunno how other contributors feel about this suggestion, but I wouldn't have a problem with Stardock finding the matches they prefer. Shoot, they can copyright my little pics and names for all I care.

After all, some of my submissions are just modified versions of the medals we already get.

i was thinking more along the lines of linking the two together. maybe design trophies for some of the 'medals'.

However, if anyone wants to design new ideas for trophies etc, then submit them and we will see! i am not saying they will be used as it may not be posible to do some of the things suggested, but there is no harm in submitting them.

Perhaps one way of doing things would be to give the trophy to the present #1/#2/#3, and leave anyone who has ever reached the top 3 with a medal for the highest rank they got.
