+ Possibly some [?] buttons by things such as approval to help you understand why a certain value is something. I.e. explain how you got to that number."
Yay - that is great news! Very nice to hear
In order to avoid cluttering up the interface with too many buttons, I'd suggest either hyperlinks (click on the line with approval rating to pop up a new window with more info about it), or mouse-over popups (like in Europa Universalis 2).
But I am sure that whichever way Stardock ends up doing it will turn out great... this level of support just keeps on amazing me!

I better stop because it's starting to feel like spam
There were two reasons why I bought this game:
1. Website information
- Brad et al have posted so much information on the game (eg. their encyclopaedia, game play examples) that I didn't need to wait for a review. I knew what the game was about. For goodness sakes, the manual was posted before the game was released
2. Support from stardock.
- This support include "enhancements". Most, if not all companies, will eventually bring out patches to iron out "bugs". But few companies actually listen to their fans and release FREE ENHANCEMENTS for the game. No need for a $40US/$100Aus expansion pack (ie. SEIV). We are talking about FREE UPDATES. That to me is committment.
I would also like to add my voice to this. Mr. Bradwell,
please know that your presence here is extremely appriciated. It chances the entire feel of this forums and community to one of closeness and appriciation between us the users and you the developers. Please take into considiration when coming here that for each single rude person there are 20 people here who are loving your participation and consider it a great privilag.
The only way it could have been better is if it was hand delivered to my door - and came with someone (preferably feminine and scantily dressed) to do the housework I'm let slide while I play the game."
If someone "feminine and scantily dressed" came to my door with GalCiv... well Brad, I have to be honest, I might not get the game installed right away
Just like to say a big think you to all the development team. There may be a few bug posts and things we're not sure about or don't like, but it's such a good game we just want our experience to be even better.
