And no, they're not gonna change the flag for Finland! If it's an uncool flag, well, you're stuck with it.

I call upon the spirits of Europe to visit us again... Wait! They aren't dead yet. Just that the Euros are masters at biofeedback and can shut their bodies down so that they look dead.

Believe it or not, you guys are missed. On the forum, that is. We can see your scoring machine at work almost daily. But maybe we get suspicious of these quiet types sneaking around behind our backs, looking for a moment to strike. Uh oh, looks like I better run along. The Spymaster pot may be seen as calling the Euro kettle black!

In Belgium we have a saying: "Stille waters, diepe gronden", freely translated: "Silent waters run deep"

I'll make an effort to comment some more on your postings ok?

Just a reminder to all that the European Alliance is still alive, allthough not very active at the moment.

So all come join the Alliance!!!

And how's the EURO FORCE doing now? Where's the action?! Is it really true our logo can not be improved? The Jedi seem to have succeeded with it, how couldnt we? Is animation possible? Little more shine and glimmer wouldnt hurt

Oh, I try to kick someone here to life every couple of weeks or so, but these Euros only know how to score, not post. Such a boring crowd. But such is the lot of the Spymaster. As long as any empire is alive enough to stay in the running, I got to visit once in a while.

Alright, no worries. Maybe there's not enough common things to talk about - we are simply such a diverse crowd?! More unity and background is required. Bring on the old myths and stories. Some kind of rally and call to arms would sure be nice though. We seem to have a large and competent member base so building on from that could eventually produce a much higher ranking

Some kind of network lag going on still, the blaster or that power grid hit still slowing things down. So thats why my extra postings, very sorry about that. My next tactic will be trying to establish a fast path to Maso victory. This is an awesome well balanced game and there does not seem to be any major shortcuts out there, but still....maybe still a reasonably fast method for clocking out a couple submissions per day can be established, even at the Maso level Right now looking very promising indeed. I'll keep you posted, but maybe we need to arrange a more secure communication channel also....too many eyes are watching!

The Euros have already got a secret bunker. Look here: http://users.pandora.be/gforce2/Galciv/Alliance2/frameset.htm Link

I do not know what goes on there exactly, because my strange code of ethics prevents me from visiting the secret bases of other empires. Maybe I already know the best-kept secrets of everyone beforehand?

I am going to turn in before I get too drunk.

Do we have a power hit in Europe too ? But the fact is our secret bunker coolfreepage is way too slow to access. http://europe.coolfreepage.com/forums/index.php Link

Anybody got some real bandwidth to share?

Cranking up some tiny Maso submissions, in the hopes it will keep us afloat a little longer near the top crowds.

While waiting for the expansion pack, how about the ultimate "Paperweight on the Enter key" strategy that would allow finishing the game much faster though - and easier. Spending too much time adjusting every single slider right now. Yes, it works well and is effective, but it takes so long "real" play time too.

Now wondering if there is a way to take the playing to a higher level, and just focus on the long term victory in the end. Forget micromanagement and hope that the AI wont throw us out too early. An ultimate master strategy that would allow you just to have a cursory look every turn -one or two top decisions, max 1min - and hope that by year 2010 or so we'll still be hanging out in there. Clearly this approach would hurt all progress quite a bit, but doesnt matter if the end result is a victory anyway. Hallucinating...maybe?! That must be the next test anyway!

As for the secret bunker, I'd be happy to give you the requirements it needs. If you got better, I'll move the entire thing over immediatly. As for the website, I'll take all contributions so if you wanna see something added just email it to me, my adress is on the site and somewhere in this thread.

On a different note, has anyone seen Impune lately? I'm starting to wonder where that Emperor of ours has gone off to ...

Keep gaming!!

With the ANZAC's on the move the Europeans have just hoken up and comming out of hibernation I see.. Don't think that this will save your position on the top ladder.. We ANZACS are going to get back our %th spot .. to start with then we'll go even higher. Prepaire to be one of the DownTrodden on our Crusade

Since it were the Europeans who actually went crusading, prepare to be overrun!!

See what you have done, Blue? The Euros are leaving the manor houses and marching in the field now. RUN!
