Unfortunately, the Ring seems to be affecting Ray. You might have heard about his recent exploits as Evil Ray. Though it's corrupting him, he just seems to be getting stronger!

That's interesting because Gollum did not seem to "get stronger". You sure Ray isn't in a cave, eating raw fish, and searching for "hissss Precioussss"?

No, we already have Smeagol in the empire. We keep an eye on him to ensure he doesn't try to steal the Ring from Ray.

Have any of you guys seen Return of the King ? I loved it, but i'm looking forward to seeing it again (on the 30th). It is just so packed, that it hard to hold everything together (especially since i'm only just about to finish the 2nd book).

Can't wait to get my hands on that extended DVD version either.

They are all 3 great movies but a triple...wow that a long time in a cinema. It is offered here to but i just couldn't imagine sitting in cinema for that long.

I wish that i had read the books before seeing the movies, but...well i didn't really show any interest before i met my girlfriend (she's pretty into LotR). She got me started and now just have to get them read (i really enjoy them).

I hope so, it's great book (i read it in english, beeing german), took me about three months, of cause just because i had to do some Bundeswehr Grundwehrdienst, so i had litle time to read and more for playing in the mud with a real gun.

I know the feeling. I read all three books about 6 years ago for the first time (read time twice more after that already

) and I simply couldn't stop reading until it was late night. Luckily it was holiday time back then.
