Well I am just tired of trying to be member of other empires, so I am going to fly "solo" for a while. Nice being part of your empire but I cannot have access to the website or to post from work either, so it is becoming a stressful situation for me. If I can solve this problem I will return.

Hope you make it back soon. I'm pretty sure you've got some DNS issues at home, as for work, it maybe a proxy/firewall issue

You can always configure an lmhosts file and put 66.88.43.221 as idle.thehueys.com or the hosts file in linux/unix.

Well mine (thehueys.com) has to be the funkiest, well, not anymore. Any DNS problems anyone has had are now history as I am no longer running SOA for thehueys.com. All DNS is being handled by xo communications.

I am back, I was tired this morning and very frustraded, now I just submitted a 10k score game and it doesnot shows in the individual player list. I know they are renovating the server so hopefully it will show after that.

Thanks, I was tired yesterday, specially after submitting my game and not seen the score show up on my race for the 25th spot, I submitted a 10k game and it shows in our team totals, but no in my individual total.

It seems that the player profile totals and the empire stuff are not always in sync. I don't know why or what governs it. We are glad to have you back nonetheless.

Just a word on DNS stuff. Whenver there's a DNS change, it can take a while for it to propagate to all the servers on the internet. That's why some people won't have problems and others will. It can sometimes to 2-3 days.

I am going to step out for a week at least until this website gets fix, you cannot do almost anything except posting in the forum, if you visit the mods forum and open one tread and then try to open another in the same mod, the computer sort of freezes, the same with the strategy forum. You can't refresh the empire data, you can't get your score added to your individual data, I just ask myself was needed this DNS change? The only thing I have seen so far is pure havoc. My head hurst for so much disconnected things.

Mayito, I was having the same problems. Try logging out and logging back in, then refresh. That worked for me. The site seems to be acting much better now.

What's this? Is football season overwith, or has it been such a long time since Gerakken has crashed into this thread? All this talk about server hijinks is definitely a drastic departure from the usual fare here. Ah, your trick is revealed. This is merely a distraction to disguise the fact that the Children of the Corny have snuck into striking range of the mighty pirates of the Metaverse. Yet another empire seeks to fence us in and confine our raiding space.

Wow this is the most active this thread has been in a long time. I hope everyones network issues have been worked out. Gerakken I would watch out for those Anzacs as well. They and we have been very active lately. All the crops are in and we farmers have nothing better to do than post scores and can perserves. Of course the Anzacs still have there sheep but we will not go there.
