I see the farmers still haven't returned to the fields. Hey! I know! I'll ring the dinner bell!

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Come and Get It! Chow's on the table!

Note: To all MWC, we're just having fun. Please don't be upset.

They still havent responed to this blatant invasion? This is crazy. Maybe the snow is keeping all the farmers away.

Maybe... or they are waiting in ambush. (Arcilte looks around)

Don't be silly, it's the Midwest. There's no terrain to hide behind for three hundred miles in any direction.

They've disguised themselves as farm animals. I was wondering why the cows were saying "It's hot in this...um..I mean...Moo!"

Would you believe all the farmers are snowed in? We got about a foot here in Western Michigan yesterday. I see you all kept the homesight burning for me. We haven't seen this much activity since we were fighting neck and neck with GROSS for 1st place. How many of you remember that far back?? It is true, things have been very still here on the farm, and now my last good tractor is hanging on a wall. Hmmm. a combined string where all active members chat??? Not a bad idea. What would we call it?

Woohoo!!! Welcome to our..umm..your thread, surther!!

I remember MWC being in the thick of things. It wasn't that far back, was it?

Not that far....I am hoping that the add-on will breath some new life. Darn Rise of Nations that game alone has distracted a bunch of players.

Well, I've been playing the classic world domination game known as Risk as of late. I bought a copy of Risk II the other day, its fun.

#1086  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 1/28/2004 2:14:24 PM

Wow! I used to love the board game Risk! I've never played it on a computer, however.

#1087  by Citizen KEmperor - 1/28/2004 2:19:45 PM

Yeah, me too, thats why I got it. The computer game is great. Not only is there the classic version, but there is Same Time Risk in which all the players move simultaneously with different rules and Tournament mode. There is also the option of turning on new territories, like New Zealand, Hawaii, The Phillipines, Falkland Islands, etc.

I love Risk! Don't get many chances to play it these days, though.

I remember some really intense, hard-core games of Risk... there was one game where someone spiked other people's drinks with vodka, and another game where a friend of mine sent his girlfriend to go tickle one of his opponents, so that that opponent wouldn't be paying attention while he concluded a covert deal with me...

good times

Did I come to the right place? I was looking for the MWC thread.

Anyway, just poking my head in the door to offer neighborly greetings to our Breadbasket Buddies. Uh, wherever they may be, while the hobbits and Jedi are raiding the cookie jar.

(Looks both ways, sees nobody watching, snatches an Oreo or two for himself.) OK, I'm headin out now. Ya'll stop on down to RB if you're in the neighborhood. We'll brew up a pot o coffee and offer you a doughnut or a piece of pie.

Well, it was certainly nice of the MWC to set one up for us, don't you think?

Not to mention supplying us with all those tractors to play with.

#1097  by Veteran Captain Jack Sparrow - 1/28/2004 6:32:28 PM

1 tractors hanging on the wall, 1 little tractors hanging on the wall and if one little tractor should accidently fall there will be no more little tractor hanging on the wall

Wow. Someone had way too much time and way too few women on his hands.

Had two of them on Monday night (after some drinking ) so I figured it may be time to destroy some tractors.

Unfortunately, my woman is not in the same city as I am. Long distance relationships make you search for ways to amuse yourself.
