Hmmm, now thats frustrating. Stardock shows that I have everything installed and nothing else is available. I certainly had them in 1.05. Do you get them after the final frontier now?

No, they're in the same place they were before (I think). I think the prerequisite was Near Omnipotence.

I just looked in the built in science library. It wasnt in there. It used to be after Near Omniscience. It doesnt show it now. This is too weird.

Just discovered that Mayito777 has the same problem. The excalibur tech is missing. Dont know if Im missing any others.

#2056  by Veteran vincible - 9/30/2003 6:01:01 PM

Huh, weird. I just checked and it is definitely on my machine.

#2057  by Citizen WileyCoyote - 9/30/2003 6:04:50 PM

Mayito told me about some enhanced transport too. Never saw it. Maybe if do a complete reinstall it will work but what a pain.

#2058  by Veteran vincible - 9/30/2003 6:23:35 PM

Huh. I haven't seen any advanced transport.

#2059  by Veteran vincible - 9/30/2003 6:25:27 PM

Idle, are you going to explain posts 2051 and 2052?

Btw I think you have one of the best names on this forum.

#2060  by Veteran GASherbert - 9/30/2003 6:32:01 PM

The advanced transport comes with Ranger Tech.

#2061  by Veteran kryo - 9/30/2003 6:49:01 PM

The only new transports in addition to the regular one and combat transports are ones added by mods

Also, excaliburs do come after Near Omnipotence, but don't show on the tech browser unless you go directly to the page from a link. This is a problem with the tech browser (it only shows the core techs in the tree, and excalibur is part of the bonus pack--same deal with the new weapon techs)...

If bonustechs.tech and excalibur.ship are in your data directory though I don't see why they shouldn't be researchable in game, though...

#2062  by Veteran GASherbert - 9/30/2003 6:59:23 PM

I thought the advanced transport comes in the same pack as combat transports.

#2063  by Veteran kryo - 9/30/2003 7:04:48 PM

I just looked in the ship files, and combat transport is the only one.

#2064  by Veteran GASherbert - 9/30/2003 7:33:19 PM

Oh, O.K., I got the advanced transport out of 'Advanced Transports and Freighters' mod in the Library.

Wiley,

Can you build AMMs? AMMs are also a bonus pack addition, together with Excaliburs.

Morning everyone.

Well, what a crap day Monday turned into. First they announced layoffs at my corporation. Then during the day Monday I started feeling bad and I seem to have a pretty bad cold now. Then Monday night my wife, baby daughter and mother-in-law were hit by a drunk driver while sitting at a stoplight. They're all fine, but banged up. My mother-in-law was the worst off, as she got a sprained ankle and hurt her back. My baby's carseat protected her perfectly so she was unhurt.

That's why I wasn't here yesterday. I was at home taking care of the wife and baby. My wife is pretty sore and has a little trouble picking up the baby. She's doing better today, however.

Anyway, enough of the doom and gloom. Today will be much better!

Welcome to the Fellowship Annubis! I'll add you to our website Roster as soon as possible.

In case our newest members haven't been there, the Fellowship of the Ring Empire has a website which is at this http://www.angelfire.com/rings/fellowshipgalciv Link You'll find many useful items there. If any of you are interested in submitting a backstory for your character, write something up and I'll add it to the Roster Page. Take a look at what some of us have done and give it a try. You don't have to if you don't want to, but it's kind of fun.

Geez what a lousy start to the week . . .

I'm so relieved to hear your all ok

Yikes, really glad everyone's safe, Theoden. You must have had a shock of your life.

Glad everyone is ok, Theoden, and hope they make a quick recovery and the law fries the drunk driver or at least singes him a bit.

How do you wish backstories submitted, e-mail or here? I am generally more prolific on the boards and such from work (joys of direct backbone connection) and just play or such from home (woes of dial up).

#2071  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 10/1/2003 10:39:32 AM

Thanks, everybody. I just talked to my wife and she said her mother was hurting a lot more today. She's going back to the doctor.

DarkHobbit, I too am more prolific on the forum while here at work. Go ahead and submit your backstory here!

Just submitted a Maso Gigantic and my PP scores are above 300k.

No Fleet Admiral.

Drunk drivers make me absolutely furious! I have 2 daughters and a wife myself and I cant stand the thought of losing them let alone to a guy who thinks hes "invincible" and gets behing the wheel drunk. Im sure glad your family is ok Theoden. I hope you are too. I would have been positively freaked out!!

Now that you mention it. I cant build those either. They dont show up in the tech descripiton of dreadnaughts either. I didnt notice it before since I never build them anyway. Its seems as if when I installed 1.10 over 1.05 through stardock that it wiped out the bonus pack. It still shows it as having been installed but I certainly do not have AMM's or excaliburs.
