Ah. The original Sith lord returns. We quake in your dark, nasty presence. Welcome back.
In case you missed the rundown, I was once known among you as Obi-Wan.
The story was obviously begun too soon. The main event for the evening's entertainment should obviously be, "KEmperor vs. Darth Kryo: Who's More Evil?" It's gonna be tough getting somebody willing to step into the ring to act as referee for that one!

Here follows a story written by Arclite and myself, enjoy:
Chapter 1: Into the Maelstrom
[The Mid-Western Confederation Planet Wardell IV comes into view - birthplace of the Creator – the camera slowly descend towards the desert planets surface to a silvery barn like building]
"Commander Surther, we have detected an enemy fleet". "Where?" was Surther’s immediate response. He realized those damned Jedi must have found out what they were up to out here on the edge of the galaxy. These arid systems rarely attracted so much as a freighter, let alone a war fleet. "Sector 0,2 my lord" the adjutant replied. "Initial data scans have revealed the presence of most of the Jedi Republic council", he said reading off a data pad. "We have reports of The SSD Sherbertia, the AS Skywalker, and the SSD Icemane in the vicinity". "Give me that" yelled Surther as he snatched the pad. As he surveyed the data he felt his heart sink. The Jedi could not have assembled a more powerful force, save in numbers. Action was the only thing that could save them here, "Comm., Get me Commander KasualKid". As he spoke the Comm. screen on his desk glittered into life and few minutes later it revealed Kasual Kid on the bridge of BB Kentucky. "Commander, always a pleasure" said KasualKid with a smile. "Nothing unpleasant, I hope?" Surther then began to reply in a serious tone, "We have a situation, the Jedi are here but in stronger force then we would have expected" As the last of the sentence left Surther’s mouth, an alarm sounded. “Sir, we have a second report of more ships entering the area”, said the adjutant. “Our listening post in sector 0,4 has detected a second battalion of ships consisting of the DC Killing Time, SS Halut I, BB Vulcan’s Hammer and the SS Defiant.” The faces of Suther and KasualKid looked as though the wind had been knocked out of them.
[Switch to hyperspace and a view of the Jedi Republic Fleet, Camera homes in on the flagship of the SSD Sherbertia]
"This is Jedi Fleet Command, the enemy has begun jamming communications.” An unworried voice said. “Grand Admiral Sherbert you have control of the fleet, Godspeed and May the Force be with you". With the end of the transmission, the Comm. screens flickered out of existence and with it, the link to Coruscant had been severed. "Open a channel to the fleet". As he spoke images of the Jedi Council appeared on the main viewer, "Gentlemen, it appears the enemy knows that we are coming… but we will proceed as planned" announced Admiral Sherbert, "Unexpected this is… but confusion it would cause to change" said Jedi Master Yoda; whose size belied his power. "The disturbance in the force is growing. Time have we not to delay our assault”. “The enemy has almost succeeded in their plans" contributed Senior Counsel Member Arcilte, "We've lost the advantage of surprise but if we delay any further we will die. If we fight, we have a chance… a small one but a chance still" replied Exar Kuun - the newest member of the council. “We should have destroyed them a long time ago”, said the low raspy voice of Darth Kryo. “If we did things your way Darth Kryo, we would have to subjugate the whole galaxy”, said the Haluter, Icho Tolot. Master Yoda tapped his cane twice and spoke “Enough of this I have had. Move forward with our plans we must”. Grand Admiral Sherbert began to rise from his chair and calmly spoke. "Then the matter is settled”. Grand Admiral Sherbert reached for the communications button that would project his voice to all the gathered ships of the Jedi fleet. Slowly he pushed the button and spoke loudly and confidently. “To battle stations and May the Force be with us". And in unison the Jedi Council echoed back, "May the Force be with us". The Comm. screen flashed out of existence. Foot steps could loudly be heard throughout the Jedi ships as people rushed to their posts. Then there was nothing but the sound of silence as they waited for the dawn......
[Focus in on a view of a lone ship hurtling through hyperspace at a colossal speed]
"How long till we reach Wardell?", said a low toned but powerful voice. "Just over an hour my lord", said the helmsman. "Increase power to the engines", said the commander in his husky voice. "My Lord, they're already red lining and the reactors are overloading - she'll fall apart", the helmsman said franticly. "THEN FLY HER APART DAMMIT!", sneered the Captain. He knew if his ship didn't reach Wardell in time the entire Jedi fleet and the Metaverse’s only chance of survival would be lost, they were heading for a trap. [Slow zoom out from the ship to reveal its name - the SSD KEmperor - the ship suddenly appears to leap forwards as it increases its speed]
[Back aboard the SSD Sherbertia]
Admiral Sherbert felt like thousands of Commanders had as they stood before the battlefield. Would they win? Would their troops survive? Now there was something more, something that required the power of the entire Jedi council. Best not to think about what the MWC were doing out here and get on with the battle. Such dark thoughts would only distract him from the task at hand. Sherbert reached for the Comm. Panel. “Sherbert to the Jedi fleet - drop out of hyperspace on my mark. 5..,4..,3..,2..,1..Mark". The Sherbertia shuddered as the colossal energies required to keep it in hyperspace dissipated.
[View of empty space above Wardell IV - no sound whatsoever - then blue flares of light appear, tears in the space time continuum, a multitude of ships arrive, the Jedi have come]
”This is Fleet Admiral Sherbert, all ships report in for duty”. “SSD Icemane ready to inflict pain”, said the raspy voice of Darth Kryo. "The SS Halut I is with you", said Icho Tolot. "DC Killing Time now on station", spoke Exar Kuun. "SS Defiant awaiting command”, chimed in Arcilte. “Vulcan’s Hammer is ready to smash”, said M.B.M. “Ready the AS Skywalker be”, said Master Yoda. The Comm. channel chattered away as the fleet assembled.
[Switch camera view around to reveal the significantly larger MWC fleet]
So who wants to know what happens next? Who will win the battle? Will Kemperor save the day? What are the MWC doing on Wardell? How did Surther know the Jedi were coming? All these question and more will be answered
