which planet rarity and spacing are you playing with those maso's?

At first I played abundant(my tiny games), but then I switched over to rare for my later ones. I'm playing tight clusters. Abundant games take way too long, especially on maso.

Plus the other civs will only have more planets wit which to build battleships with, since they almost always get to star systems before you.

This I am posting only because it's been 10 hours since the last. I'll have to try a tiny maso now, the big maps are to tough for me on maso and don't have enough points on normal

You should be able to get around 20k on a huge normal....

I'm averaging just shy of 10k on normal on medium and large. Not much more than that.

If you play your maso games right, you won't have to worry about the battleships. It's just that it takes too long to culturize, alpha strike, or destroy every planet.
