Lord Megatron, you interested in joining our empire?
Our empire is not, repeat, not 'invite-only' anyone can join. However there are some key rules that allow people to stay in the empire. The rules are as follows:
1. Overlords must have Chaotic or Pure evil alignment to remain in the Evil Empire.
2. New Overlords with no submissions have one week to submit a chaotic or pure evil game or faced with joining the Drengin in the furnaces.
3. Overlords losing Chaotic or Pure evil alignment have one week to prove themselves.
4. To be a Senator an Evil Overlord must be active in the Evil Empire threads. Active will be defined as 3 posts in the Empire threads for the month.
5. Any senator losing Chaotic Evil status will be demoted to Overlord after two days, if Chaotic evil alignment has not been regained. Said overlord has 5 days to regain Chaotic morality or will be spaced from the TerrorStar of Evil.
These rules are as stated in the Terror Star of Evil website.

On that note, I would like to propose a new bill (I know, I know, but as our empire develops we need to know how to run effectively)
Proposed Bill #6
Any overlord that is interested in becoming a Senator must first be:
1. Sponsered by an existing Senator
2. Be approved by Emperor HairytheTaco
Once these steps have occured, the overlord must be confirmed by 2/3 of the existing Senate. Failure to meet any of these requirements the overlord will not be allowed to become a Senator. This will not inhibit the overlord from trying again.
The Dark Lord votes in favor of Bill #6.
(Remember any proposed Bill can have other things added on, so feel free to add any thing on if it is so needed)

well, with bill #6, i see no reason why i would have to approve a decision for moving someone up to a senator.
why dont we just have the 2/3 of the senates approval instead?

I agree with Nand1. Proposed Bill #6 has been removed from the floor. In its place The Dark Lord has proposed not a new bill, but a new measure:
There will be no more Senators. At least for the time being. When the EVIL EMPIRE grows large enough we will elect a few more. Not a moment before.
Just a simple agree or disagree will be neccessary.

New Name, New Post
DA sat in his jail cell. His cell mate looked at DA in a smug way. DA punched the guy’s face. “Don’t think about it toots. I could kill you 100 different ways in this jail cell.” DA was still in his robe, he managed to allow the guards to let him keep it on. The man backed away in pain. “That’s what I thought.” DA lied down in his cot after lights out.
A low voice pierced the night. “Who is the new guy?”
“If only you knew.”
“Feisty little fellow, huh Bennie?” Bennie couldn’t answer with the broken jaw. “Speechless huh Bennie?”
“Bennie has a broken jaw, slick.”
“Oh yea? He probably had it coming.” The mystery man laughed. “What are you in for, stranger?”
“I was once the emperor’s right hand man, but I did something I wasn’t supposed to.”
“What was that?”
“I kidnapped the Altarian Prime Minister’s daughter and used her as leverage to keep the Altarians out of the Wale insurrection.”
The man didn’t say a word. Finally he said, “Are you who I think you are?”
“That depends, who am I?”
“DA?”
“It’s nice to know that prisoners know my name.” That was the end of that conversation. DA slept the night away.
DA was rudely awoken by a guard. “If it isn’t the legendary DA. Sounds like someone is about to get the death penalty, get ready you stand trial in 1 hour.”
DA was practically dragged into the courtroom. Everyone was there, Hairy, all the senators, and the Altarian Prime Minister and his daughter. The trail didn’t last long. The penalty for dereliction of duty is death. They didn’t even waste time; DA was set to be hung in two hours.
DA was brought to the stadium. Everyone was there, every man, woman, and child on Poseidon. They led him to the gallows, he was held in place by two strong men and the noose was pulled over his head and tightened around his neck. Emperor HairytheTaco silenced the crowd and said, “Silence, this man has been convicted of dereliction of duty, a crime punishable by death. Does the prisoner have more to say on the subject before sentencing is carried out?”
DA looked up into the crowd, his robe still on and said, “I will see all of you in hell!” DA started to laugh, his evil laugh.
“Commence the lynching!” The door dropped from under DA and he fell and immediately broke his neck. The last minutes of his life, DA was in the most terrible pain he had experienced before. He was dead within 5 minutes, DA’s body hung lifeless by its neck. The people began to file out of the stadium, only Hairy was left looking out over his lost companion. “We shall meet again, Lord Dark.” Hairy turned and left as well.
Hairy returned to the TSE. Requesting to be left alone in silence, he sat there reminiscing of the days lost. He was disturbed by his assistant. “I said no interruptions.”
“I’m sorry, milord. But there’s a man who calls himself, ‘The Dark Lord’, waiting to see you, milord.”
Hairy’s head lifted up “Sent him in.” The Dark Lord (DL) entered the chambers and Hairy studied his face. DL’s face reflects long years of stress, it has massive tattoos on his face. His ears of long been pierced numerous times, and he still has to wear sunglass as all times except when it’s dark outside, compliments of his stretch in the Galaxy’s Maximum Security Prison on Alpha III while with the Terran Federation. What else was there to do with the packs of cigarettes that his Lord Sarcasto sent him? So DL had his eyes scorched to allow him to see in the dark, which lead to his long, healthy career as the vilest Dark Assassin. “Lord Dark? You weren’t to return this quickly.”
“I know, milord. But I am eager for my new assignment.”
“Always quick to serve.”
“Always, milord.”
“I shall call the EEHC to order to announce your arrival.”
“Yes, milord.”
Hairy brought the EEHC to order. “We have a new overlord and senator.” The other Senators began talking amongst themselves. “Silence, your questions will be answered in due time. May I present to you, The Dark Lord.” DL stood and acknowledged Hairy. “Dark Assas…I mean DL will assume control of the leaderless 5th Fleet.” At once all the senators new who the new guy was, in fact he wasn’t new at all. He is a reincarnation of an old friend. DA has returned. The EEHC was dismissed.
DL returns to the bridge and sits in his chair. His new post as Admiral of the 5th Fleet gave him a new, bigger ship, the ESS Shattered Dreams, the flagship of the 5th Fleet. DL left behind his career as the dreaded assassin because of his obligations to his empire. It was the hardest decision he has ever had to make. However, don’t be mislead, he had not completely relinquished his control of the Assassin’s Guild.

for the logo that you want, well, the biggest one that i know of is the one currently being used as our logo, which is only 32 x 32 pixels. im not sure who created/found the original picture of the "evil eye", but maybe they will have a bigger one.
everyone >>> with the senate, i dont see too much of a problem with our current large senate to overloard ratio. i think it makes our empire seem "very active" when an outsider views our empire line-up. maybe we should slow down a bit with the promotions, maybe wait a few weeks before promoting someone if they proved themselves a good member. in short, i think we should slow down, but not stop promotions. comments?
