I found this app http://www.blender3d.com/ Link and thought it could help things out here. for those looking to try 3d modelling and animation this program for being open source and free is really not to bad. Of course there is a learning curve that is steep for someone that has never used a 3d app before, but if you stick with it i think it would be worth it. here is a link to the users manual http://www.blender.org/modules/documentation/htmlI/ Link and some tutorials http://www.3dmaxer.dk/tutorial.asp?ak=666&type=blend Link . so have fun, good luck, i look forward to see if anyone creates some new ships, stars, resource animations, anomaly animations, ... ect
