First off heyas all.
Okay,
1) do not like the fact that after researching wormholes one can not blink from one end of the map to another, if not, what is the point of researching the tech?
2) with being able to destroy stars or create them, where is the military application to do such?
3) Although I played my first game as a beginner just familiarize myself with the game, I thought for sure that there would be something more once I researched going beyond human, also, when you get to the point of the last tech, is it possible to shut off research, so the game does not end?
4) Making a Terror Star, what is the point of building one, if you have to wait for other civ's to attack you first? And, why can you not build one in a star system that is unoccupied by planet? Perhaps a mod where the terror star can become a planet?
5) I know little about mods are writing for such things, though could I make a suggestion? A mod that uses the Rama series of books.
Lot of ideas, just lack the skill.

You can uncheck the option that allow tech victory In this case, finding final frontier won't end the game

Heh, yep, the tech screen description makes you think you might eventually get to gain such possibilties, given the traditional expections for "Worm Holes" in SciFi. I was disappointed to find they do nothing and don't exist in the game. I thought as an near the end tech tree - near the end of the game, it would be nice to be able to use worm whole travel to reach distance places without have to wait for the game engine to move the ships slowly one square at a time. In Master Of Orion II, one has a similar ability to "Jump Gate" instantly to other worlds unless the target location of a player had a "Warp Interdictor." I also liked that feature for wrapping the game up faster at the end - it'd be nice to see it in GC/AP in some kind of fashion.
There would be no reason for the shipping lanes to use them, but if some did, so what? Just code it into the game to work.

Heh, here again you are made to think this will be an ability in the game or sorts... turns out it isn't. It is just "filler" of sorts in the tech tree, I guess. If it was used in the game, I was wondering as well what the game designers were going to do in that regard...

Depends on the way you want to "win" the game.... there is a little movie which plays after to research all the techs in the tree for your alignment. I seldom ever go for a tech victory anymore.... take too many hours! Once it is clear I'll win, I usually quite to save myself from wasting several hour "mopping-up" the rest of the player to get a military victory; the cultural victory is what I usually go for... it's cool watching several enemy planet swithc to your side when you move a cultural terror star into the sector, lol; heh, and dealing with the messages for the players wining about you building such things as cultural terror stars or cultural star bases in thier sectors...

Not sure I follow your questions here. The point of a terror star is the abilty to toast enemy planets or make them fully "Cultural," then move them into enemy sectors so that enemy star systems there switch to your side. The down side is they move too frelling slow; thier hard speed should have been increase according to the size universe being played.
You can build them where ever your wish. A good way it to make about 30 constructors which you place in a stack adjancent to a star bases with movement modules installed.... Next, move the entire stack to the desired area where you wish to make your terror star. You will have enough constructors to fully complete it in most aspects (military, defenses, and cultural) in one turn (have plenty of money in savings).
