This is the only version of GalCiv Writer that I can find, since all the other links to it are dead, except for a really old beta that only did events and UP issues. The trouble with this latest one is that it doesn't seem to be working! It starts up fine, but it doesn't list any files. It locates all the directories and says it listing them, but there are no files displayed. When I try to run any of the editors, they're all blank, and if I try to use any tools, I get this error:
Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Along with a bunch of other VB-programmers jibberish.
So, yeah, in other words it won't display and files and I can't find any way anywhere to make it do so.
(Of course, this is assuming anyone even visits these forums anymore...)

I have GalCiv Writer 2.0.0-alpha11 running on my PC. You need to check the "List Files from" checkboxes and then start "Edit -> e.g. Events".
The "Files in storage" field is just for the case that you want to copy any files.
The only source for the prog I found is here Link
I don't know if it's alpha10 or alpha11.

Yes indeed! But maybe there will be some more traffic due to the new Ultimate Edition ...

I downloaded mine from the same site, but I still can't get it to work. Under "List Files From:", only /GFX and /MOVIES are checkable. The other four are grayed out. And if I try to edit anything, I'm the editor windows are still blank with all the toolbar stuff grayed out except "Exit".
I'm hoping this editor doesn't require Alterian Prophecy installed in order to work...
