Description
Each .imp file can contain one or more IMPROVEMENT definitions.
Each new improvement starts with the IMPROVEMENT and ends with ENDIMPROVEMENT.
The // act as comments and can be anywhere in the file.
To highlight a new improvement a //--------------------------- line is usually place before and after the SHIP line

IMPROVEMENT should be followed by a IMPROVEMENT_ID_Name and should be unique.
Between the IMPROVEMENT and ENDIMPROVEMENT tags you can have any of the following Attributes
Each attribute and value should be on its own line

Required Attributes

Name - Name of the ship in double quotes

Model - Name of the model file. Normally a bik file animation of 120 x 120. The bik files goes in the movies/imps directory.
If the model is not found a default model is displayed.

Manufacturing_Bonus - The percentage manufacturing bonus Current values range from 0 to 100

Morale_Bonus - The percentage morale bonus. Current values raneg from 0 to 100

Economic_Bonus - The percentage economic bonus. Current values raneg from 0 to 100

Presitge_Bonus - The percentage presitge bonus. Current values raneg from 0 to 100

Planetary_Quality_Bonus - The percentage planetery quality bonus. Current values raneg from 0 to 100

Research_Improvement_Bonus - The percentage research improvement bonus. Current values raneg from 0 to 100

Type - One of the follow values in double quotes. Normal, SuperProject, TradeGood, Achievement, Wonder.

Tech_Requirement - The Tech_ID_Name or Tech Name in double quotes. A value of "" should be used f you have no technology required or if the Tech_Requirement_ID is not zero.
Tech_Requirement_ID - The Tech_ID of the technology required before you can build the improvement. A value of 0 should be used if you have no technology required or the Rech_requirement attribute is not blank.

ID - A unique ID. Only required for TradeGood, Achievement and Wonder. Must be unique within the improvement type.

AbilityType - Only required for improvement types TradeGood, Achievement and Wonder. Use ability type 0 and ability amout 0 if you do not need to add an ability.

I don't think these are actually required, beacuse there's one line that goes with these your example is missing:

Influence_Resistance 0 //Resist alien influence

which is a percentage increase to the system's cultural resitance.

This is probably an exact mapping of the abilities table in English.str, and I'd assume any entry there is valid for an ability improvement.

This isn't really required, even for Achievements or Wonders (or TradeGoods, but a TradeGood without this entry wouldn't do anything). A Wonder without this isn't much of a wonder, but there are already examples of Achievements that don't have one (the *Capitols).
