Does anyone know where within /data, I can change the points available for abilities in the set-up screen? I can't seem to find an associated file anywhere. Am I missing something?
thank you.

There are two ways to interpret your statement.

If you mean can you change the amount of points to spend (currently 10), the answer, I believe, is no. I have not yet come across where you can set this. If someone knows where you can change this, I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.

However, if you mean you want to change what your 10 points can buy, this is definitely something you can do. I posted at length on this on another set of forums. Here's the link:

You'll have to scroll down a ways, my post is in the bottom 1/3rd of the page.

Have fun.

If you meant the first interpretation (changing # of points available during game creation), there's a trainer (boo!) that someone wrote that lets you do just that. If that's what want, just do a search on trainer and imsdox, and you can probably find it pretty easily.

i believe all the trainers are for earlier incarnations of GalCiv and that they don't work with the 1.05 patch.
