Would it be feasable to take all the events that people have made & make them into an "Official Upgrade", that we can download & install with Drengin.net? It could be easily updated with the mods that have been verified as error free, and would be very simple to integrate for the end-user.
What do you think, Devs?

Not sure.  I'm not the one who has to put together the builds on SDC.
Theoretically, we could. Not sure if there would be legal issues involved or anything like that, though.

The only legal issue is image rights...we agree when we upload the files that we give you the right to use them at will.
Thus, as long as someone made their own image and uploaded it, you are in the clear.

At least it would be nice to have mod "packs" that regroup mods (events, improvement, techs, ..) by theme according to the modder'ideas. For the moment we have a disparate collection of very small "mods" (ie 1 event, 1 improvement...)that is painful to manage (ie did I install the last version of event X ? )

Well, that is partly Stardock's decision. One of the reasons (I'm sure...) that Stardock isn't considering some of my submissions is they include, say, some techs AND improvements, etc. They seem to be worried about these "packs" you mention.
I have created a couple "packs" that put whole trees in with improvements and the like. If I can ever get registered at CDG I'll post them there.
