Okay, I'll use this thread to post my ideas for events.
Anyone - stardock-developer and mod-making-fan alike - who likes them can use them and build the events.
I'dont have the time to do it, and I'm not quite sure if my english is good enough. But it would be a pitty to just drop the ideas. So here we go - please tell me if you used one ofthe ideas or use this thread to post your on ones. 
NOTE: I have'nt ancountered all the events in galciv yet, so if some of my ideas allready is in the game, please tell me.

STRIKE
idea:
The workers in the vital blablatech-industries on planet X are on a major strike, demanting better payment. This strike is affecting our starship-production.
good option
They work hard and deserve better payment. Let's giv it to them. (-xxx bc)
neutral option
Well, just ignore them. Sooner or later they'll go back to work. (-military production)
evil option
Use the army to shut down this strike and force them to work harde so they won't even THINK about striking in the futurer. (+militray production)
(Morality weight shouldn't be to high)

NEW PLASMA WEAPONS
idea
Scientists found a new form of radioactive Plasma that could be used to build very effective armor-piercing missiles... however, the radiation could be dangerous for the crews of our ships.
good option
Don't want to risk my peoples live. (no changes)

Build some smaller missiles and be sure to update all ships with new radiation shield.

On of our law specialists found a amazing loophole in the UP trade-laws - we actually could use it to establish a new (nearly legal) traderoute!

We'll tell the UP about it and make sure that the law is changed and the loophole closed.

ALIENS=MURDERS ?
idea
A Arcean, travelling as a tourist, killed three people on planet X. Our investigations showed that he was a psychopathic loner, but the people are afraid and their are (untrue) rumors about a Arcean conspiracy. What should we tell them?
good option
Run a media campaign to educate our people about the Arcean culture and show them that the murder was an excemption and not part of a greater danger.

Great propaganda stuff - run a big media campaign about the 'Arcean terrorist conspiracy'. Make sure the humans stay afraid of the Arceans.

NOTE 2: As with the 'Scandal'-event, this one only males real sense when the race mentioned is one you know and are at peace with. Is there any way to get that info and insert a suitable race?

CRIMINAL GENERALS
idea
Investiagtions by our secret service have brought up hard evidence that several generals are involved in something corrupt. [Find juicy description]
However, these man are some of our best tactians, their loss would weaken our army a lot.
good option
No special treatments for generals - if they're guilty, trial them and put them in prison.

The law would require to put them into prison, but we need this tactians. We'll reduce the punishment to let them pay a symbolic sum. (Don't know how to better say that in english;))
