I've been thinking, it seems the only mods worth doing now are ships and big tech trees. I think there are way too many Events already and when I fire up the galciv writer most of the stuff you can mod is already done. I mean, of course you can make more mods that will simply build upon the existing ones by increasing their power but I think it would change the game by unbalancing it.
Well some of you can agree or disagree with me but I really really want a better starship maker. I think until the next Galciv2 is out all we really have left to mod, with a good amount of creativity and uniqueness, is ship models.
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. All my text got lost. In a since you are correct. The game is not robust enough to create a wide veriety of modding. However, mods are needed to add to the game, and make it funner. There is a Star Trek Total Conversion Mod right now in the works that needs new events, story writers, ships,..... Like I said Total Conversion. There is also a Balancer Mod out there that plans on changing parts of the game to balance thing out to make the game funner. Every game modding community comes to a point where every idea has been played out to the point where there is nothing else that can be done.
