I have downloaded some invasion tactics and when I try to invade they show up yet I have not gotten the tech for them!
Why is this happening?

They probably were not created correctly. This can happen very easily. You should be able to correct them yourself with the GalCiv Writer that H50 made (see GalCiv Writer thread).

There's also a bug report I haven't had the chance to verify for myself that Invasion Tactics ignore tech requirements.

I plan to test this over the weekend, though I'm pretty sure that I have tested it before and it *does* work.

If you screw up the Tech Requirement name, it won't work properly, perhaps this is what is happening. I don't know yet.
