Galactic News Network (GNN)
Monday, August 13, 2012 - Galactic Civilizations I coming to Steam.

Galactic Civilizations is a strategy game that stands the test of time.
Even in 2012, it is graphically impressive and its rich, deep game mechanics resonate as much now as they did when it was released.

Because the game was the first computer game to make use of Intel "Hyperthreading", the sophisticated computer AI actually performs vastly better now than it did then thanks to its native use of multi-core processors -- not bad for a game that was made before there were multic-ore PCs for sale.
