None. Every thing I have is mainly empire building, AoE (all of them), AoM, 1602, 1503, Settlers (all of them), Pharaoh, Cleopatra, Caesar III, Warcraft I,II,III.

GCII (Beta) will be there soon I hope

Romance of the three kingdoms series.
Birth of the Federation ( though bugged after turn 120)
Rome Total War
Medeval Total War
Stronghold Series
Axis and Allies ( not the new rts but old version)
Imperialism 1&2
Xcom Series
Imperium Galactica 2 ( liked the ground war)
Civilization 2,test of time, and 3 was ok though buggy.
1602 A.D.
MOO2
few more i liked

Im new to GC so im still learning this game. Though i like it much lack of ground/planet wars upsets me somewhat. but from what i read its in GC2 so i am looking forward to that.

I liked Haegemonia quite well, but in my opinion the planetary management was a bit on the short side. Did anyone play the Add-On?

On Hegemonia.

I like the linking solor systems by jump gates and the general theme of it.

Now to see if there is some way in multiplayer to give everone a different solor system and link the solor systems/players by jump gates.

The one thing I dont like is the mouse controls for the camera could be more homeworld oriented in terms of the pan up and down seem backwards and cant do the left right camera angle thing all the time.

I think you're wrond there Fuels Cheif, the Age of Empires series is a strategy game series, and they all have lots of battling. Same goes for Age of Mythology, lots of battling and strategy making. Now they arn't just pure battling, (like Blitzkreig or any of its expansions) but they have alot of battling and strategy to them.

They strategy games that I play most frequently on my PC are:

Rome Total War. (I totally LOVE this game, it is so sweet)

Blitzkreig

Blitzkrieg: Rolling Thunder

And that's about it, I haven't been playing PC much lately, but that's what I usually play when I do. I've been off of Galciv lately, kind of got repetetive. But I'll probably get back into later some time. I mostly play Xbox, Gamecube, (Xbox more) and ride my BMX bike. All of these, (except BMXing) I do with my bro. And if anyone is interested, I'm waiting for these strategy games to come out, I'm really excited about them:

Empire Earth 2 (really excited about this one, loved the first one)

Age of Empires 3

Moo2
Civ series (inc. SMAC)
Age of Wonders
Rise of Nations
Starcraft/BW
C&C Red Alert Series
Epic of Northwood

What? Never heard of EoN? Eh... well it's my game, so I'm a bit biased Pop on over if you wanna give it a spin: http://jedi.galciv.org/northwood Link

We can always use more Galcivvers there, camping out until GC2 is ready

Pharoah, Zeus, Emperor + expansions - city builders.
Civ 2 and 3
Dungeon Keeper - old but still fun....
Theme Hospital - ditto
Industry Giant

plus the occasional foray into first person shooters - Doom3 Halflife2 and Unreal Tournament

We seem to all like differnt combinations.

One thing that I have found is using the stratagies from GalCiv helps in other games.

Thanks people, I actually try and win without starting a war, hence my liking for certain games. Now, if I attacked I might stomp, but prefer to watch veryone else do that.

Civ III, AP/GC, Settlers III and IV (all time favorite along with MOOII), MOOII (Master of Orion), Star Topia, Pax Imperia, AOE, Spaceward HO!, Tropico... played many others, but not on the HD at the moment.

Mostly currently playing? Settlers GC/AP followed by Settlers IV.

Pax Imperia and Spaceward Ho were definitely addictive. I also like

StarWars Battlegrounds,
SW Rebellion,
Birth of the Federation,
Alpha Centauri,
Lords of Magic,
Kaiser (C64),
Pirates,
Caesar III,
Sterne wie Staub (C64 - that was great- you could create new AI worlds by putting a few slaves on a deserted planet...)
Age of Wonders (the first one)
Lords of the rising sun (Amiga)

Right now i'm on Chaos League - which is the BEST BloodBowl PC Conversion i've ever seen (but which gets a bit boring after you're on the Top).

I'm currently hooked on Disciples 2 (Gold). Fun little game. Not the deepest game you can find, but the strategy elements have longer legs than you might guess after first studying its simple mechanics.
