no cd key for steam purchase

i've bought the game from steam together with gal civ 2. Gal civ 2 had its cd key that worked, however on gal civ 1 install there was no cd key. Any ideas?

I have heard that you are supposed to get your key at the end of the download.

You might want to talk to Steam.
