Is this the Assassin's Guild? I need to take out a contract against someone.

Lmao, and who that might be?? Hmm I wonder...

#26  by Citizen Bakka - 8/30/2003 1:49:53 AM

For the fee of defecting we will accept the contract.

Really? Cool. Ok Assassinate (encoded) and then defect to G.R.O.S.S. Sign here in blood.

Howdy Ray. It's nice to keep tabs on everyone...
Especially since the pull of evil is getting so strong in the Fellowship.

In a bizarre way, this thread actually cheers me up. I had no idea there were so many blue-white, ultra-good, Altarian-hugging smilies in the Metaverse. Most of us can't resist dodging those big penalty PQ events and wind up as chaotic good instead.

Ironic, though, that it took the threat of evil to bring them all together.

What do you ringworms expect... Ray has had the ONE ring too long... its taken hold of him. its the ring not ray thats evil.

Remember . The ring wants to get back to its true master and will do anything it can to achieve this.

I pitty the ringworms and their constant struggle against the ONE ring.

You copuld always give it to me

Regarding the contract.
Bakka is not evil enough.
Now if you were to ask me...

I would want your soul of course, although membership would do.

The Evil Empire runs the Meta underworld. The Assassin's Guild is already under their control.

Rapid Rob should get a couple of evil games and join to bring in the gambling dens (though you may have send a couple of bully boys to Quack's Luckyduck to get rid of the competition).

Of course, Rainbird can join and operate the bordelloes. I understand there is one listed on the Aussie Stock Exchange.

Where's all the unaligned evil players on this board?
Join up now!

I need three of you to join the Evil Empire by next week or I've lose the two bags of gold I have staked over at Rapid Rob's.

BTW, Rob, are you taking any bets for the first to reach 200,000? I might fancy my chances to win back some gold.

lol, Ray, you're starting to sound desperate

Pirates are much better suited to run the Metaverse underworld than pure evil people. After all, we do evil things for profit. They do evil things for the sake of evil. Send one of them to assassinate someone, and they'll probably just nuke their whole planet "for a larf".

I understand there is one listed on the Aussie Stock Exchange.

The Daily Planet, currently trading at A$0.97. LuckyDuck also offers online share trading with very reasonable comissions.

I don't sound desperate, Quack. I'm AM desperate. It wasn't easy wringing two bags of gold out from the poor populace.

Sounds like a newspaper.

With the number of Aussie pirates, I think the share price will rise. Hit me for 500 lots. Do you accept galactic credits?

Like the AI in the game, Ray has built an impressive lead on the rest of the Metaverse, but is only now beginning to realize the problems associated with deficit spending. Losing 28 bags of gold per month for 50 months, his persona begins to shift into one promoting supply-side and trickle-down economics. And so Evil Ray emerges, a bizarre blend of Saruman, Kruge the Klingon and Rush Limbaugh.

Whereas Good Ray was the "ultimate recruiter" for the Fellowship, Evil Ray now uses his powers in the pursuit of darkness and to pad his checkbook. "Nah...the Fellowship is too nice for you. Join these evil people instead."

Maybe Ray can sell his services as a recruiter...

It was the guy wanting the contract who would do the defecting.

What are you saying Ray that I'm losing control of my own Guild?

I think not. The assassin business is booming.

And for the time being I am content in staying with the Terran Federation. Not that the Evil Empire is out of the question.

You have a good idea going HairytheTaco. Maybe one day I shall forsake my Terran heritage for the large prize that accompanies evil.

The only think I would request is being in the Senate if I shall jump ship.

Keep up the good work, and one day our paths shall cross.

I thought you were perfect for the Evil Empire, Dark.

I wonder who's heading the Meta Thieves Guild, right now. The Spymaster?

Dark Assassin >>> i dont see any reason why you wouldnt be a senator. right now, we're really looking for more members, and since you already have a good score and you do post on the forums, i would make you a senator.

I guess I would be the closest thing to it. I am mostly into sneek and peeks and whispering wind campaigns. I am more likely to steal information than physical property and I tend toward distraction and less than lethal force for getting out of situations where my stealth cannot save me. Killing tends to be bad for business. Afterall, I can't keep on blackmailing dead people or stealing from them more than once after the fact.

This is true. But what can I say the assassin business will always be around. I will always have a job.

Muahahahaha!!!

HairyTheTaco look for me to switch in the near future.

I just have unfinished business within the Federation
