Description:
Our male settlers on the Planet %s are being abducted and used for breeding by the native humanoids. The females of the species vastly outnumber the males as a result of mutations and sterility caused when the system went thru a dense radioactive nebula. This practice is causing lots of trouble, even though many of the abductees don't seem concerned about their fate. What shall we do? (Revised to correct format PCX file)

Someone had to go and develop the sentient machine! For generations we knew it was possible but research was never pursued because all the ethical and practical problems outweighed the benefits. Fortunately the fully optimized core of thought require extremely rare and costly materials, so at least there will never be a lot of them! A conflux of apparently unrelated advances allows us to improve our own nature. A small percentage of humans have the DNA segments that tolerate metallized skin structures. A human so augmented (and wearing a helmet), is impervious to all airborne chemical and biological damage, whether the source is natural, industrial or military, in addition to resistance to small arms fire. Nothing sticks, and a wash with soapy water every 24 hours makes it like new! Metallized humans will be in great demand in military/industrial/research, as they can simply go where normal humans cannot without extraordinary precautions. (Revised to correct PCX file format)
