COOKING with MM77

In todays installment, We will cook, Gengsta goulash, also known as vermin stew .

First you will need fresh Gengsta which is very hard to get fresh because it's a foul beast. But when you come across it, have your butcher cut it in diagonally strips which is easier for sun bloating .

Now that the strips are dried out, marinate them in red wine for a day.

Next, 1/4 cup of olives

1 tbls of sweet basil

1/4 cup of chopped carats

1/3 cup of garlic sauce

6 midsize potato cut in half

a pinch of teriyaki sauce

mixed with meat and stew in oven for two hours at 350

You may sear your Gengsta on top of the stove first and don't forget to tenderize it!

And there you have it! Gengsta Goulash!
it's not one of my favorite meals to eat but it's fun to make.

P.S. remember you can always season it with a little KitWarrior to TASTE .

Till next time! bone appetit!

"Are you sure the escape pod landed here?"
"That's what the spy-sat said."
"Bloody thing must be out of whack again."
"Hang on, my scanner's got a hard echo - two hundred metres, that way."

The two Secret Order agents started stomping through the muddy swamps of Skowbo. The visibility at this time of night was very poor, but they could now make out the pod's silouhette in the distance. As they approached it, one drew his sidearm while the other opened the door, looked inside...

... and saw a purple duck. He was dressed in a strange uniform, and appeared to be asleep, muttering strange things like "On parade! A-ten-SHUN! By the right, number!"

The agents looked at each other, then tried to wake the duck up.

"Sir? Are you allright, sir?"

The duck looked up with a start.

"Hmm? Oh, hey, what's doing? I've been stuck in Melbourne the last few weeks on this reserves course... waking up early, no net access, all that good stuff. Mmm, is that Gengsta Goulash cooking? I could use some good food..."

TheQuack,

YOU have no idea how GOOD it is to HEAR YOU AGAIN!

#306  by Veteran TheQuack - 7/31/2003 10:10:24 AM

I just have to try and remember where I was going with my story here... then I can visit all the new stories that've popped up and spread the good word of the fan club

Bump.

Classic reading for all forum participants.

Right now Cari is working on a 3D engine that could be used by some future game we make.

Imagine being able to play GalCiv where you could zoom in and out and units moved fluidly.

I wonder how many major games have a female as a lead programmer?

#309  by Veteran Gerakken - 8/17/2003 5:57:53 PM

Gerakken goes into old school fan club mode:

I got the post after Frogboy! Mine, mine!

Seriously, though, we sure do appreciate our most gracious Lady, the angel of software. In fact, we appreciate the efforts of everyone working on great programs for us.

#310  by Veteran Killa Koala - 8/17/2003 8:41:37 PM

Nah. Posting after Frogboy is no big deal. The highest honour goes to posting after Momzilla, followed by the Viscountess.

Actually, I never commented on Frogboy's post. That does sound very cool! I wonder if that's Galciv 2 or another space game?

MM77, you're a very kind boy.

I can't think of a better time to bump this thread, what with all the **** going on...

I'd say a bit more about how much everyone appreciates the devs' work (yes, even the background people like froggy who don't have their own fan clubs... yet... ), but the existence of this thread says enough, doesn't it?

Bring on the worship smileys!

Thanks for the moral support, guys.

I'll join. Heck, I'd even start a fan club for Brad. I think Stardock is just great! I'm never seen this level of support and I'm worked with dozens of companies.

Thank you,

Even with the Meta's latest growing pains, things can't be that bad as long as there are people who appreciate what people like CariElf, Frogboy, and all the rest over there do. I do appreciate them.

Wow. For once, Gerakken the optimist!

The IRC logger has the answers! (and some other GC2 tidbits... but of course nothing is final this early)

[16:24] [@FrogBoyHome] I do know a GalCiv 2 would be 3D though (engine wise).

[16:24] [@FrogBoyHome] Then we can zoom in and out of the map fluidly.

...

[16:37] [@FrogBoyHome] Yea. Just with the 3D engine, you could do ship battles properly.

...

[16:51] [@FrogBoyHome] GalCiv 2 won't have pre-made ships.

[16:51] [@FrogBoyHome] You'll design your own ships using the tehcnologies you've found.

...

[16:51] [@FrogBoyHome] Ships will have 3 types of general weapons and 3 types of general defenses.

[16:51] [@FrogBoyHome] energy weapons, mass driver weapons, missiles vs. shields, armor, and point defense.

And of course muchos kudos to Cari for the 3D engine she's making... apparently it's far enough along already that Brad could post a pic of a colony ship in it!
